We have been able to purchase some equipment that classes can use during there inquiries. Please contact Andy or Tim to see if they are available.

Conditions of Loan

We are happy to loan equipment to schools provided that:  

• They are used for Forests of Life inquiries.
• Reasonable care is taken in their use. 
• Security precautions are put in place.

Proscopes (12)

The Proscope is a digital microscope, that allows images, movies and stop-motion animations to be easily captured and displayed. 

Laptops (12)

We have laptops available, these are required for the Proscopes, but can be loaned out independantly

Forests of Life have two small HP cameras.

Commercial Weather Station 

A Campbell Scientfic weather station can be made available to capture meteorological data. This weather station has not yet been installed. We are interested in any longer term inquiries that may be interested in weather patterns etc. It needs to be installed in a secure location. It has a datalogger attached and data transfer is complicated.
